Use Case – Deploying Electronic Invoicing at APAS BTP

Context

APAS BTP, a professional association in the construction sector, needed to comply with France’s new mandatory electronic invoicing regulations (2024–2025). Facing this major regulatory shift, the organization encountered several challenges:

  • No internal expertise on e-invoicing or technical solutions

  • Complex scope (inbound/outbound flows, exception handling, ERP integration)

  • Risk of non-compliance and operational disruption

The objective was clear : deploy a robust, sustainable solution while preparing the teams for a smooth transition.

Our Intervention

To support APAS BTP, we engaged Pascal Bayet, an expert in digital transformation and IT financial management, in a part-time CIO model over several months.

Our mission was structured around four key pillars:

Audit & Scoping

  • Analysis of existing processes (issuance/reception, validation workflows, current tools)
  • Evaluation of available solutions (Chorus Pro, EDI partners, private platforms)
  • Definition of a deployment strategy tailored to the nonprofit context

  • Management of special cases (hybrid invoices, corrections, rejections)

Training & Change Management

  • Practical sessions for finance and admin teams
  • Creation of user guides and contingency procedures
  • One-on-one coaching for accounting managers

Process Security

  • Compliance controls (electronic signature, archiving protocols)
  • Business continuity plan to avoid flow interruptions

Results

Thanks to this mission, APAS BTP was able to:
